right-away signal
名词 n.
英文释义
名词 n.
-
A signal given to a train driver by the guard of the train, or a member of station staff, that the train is ready to depart.
— Travelling porters do not ride in the trains at off-peak times, when guards supervise boarding and alighting and give the right-away signal if no station staff is available, for if only there is only one station porter on duty he may be on the opposite platform.
