quotativity
名词 n.
英文释义
名词 n.
-
The quality of being quotative.
— What the dislocated tense conveys is that there is something special or unusual about the speaker's attitude to the event referred to. Normally, this is the hypothetical quality of the event; in this instance, we would suggest, the reference to the action has the quality of quotativity or intertextuality discussed, for instance, in Reyes (1990).
