  1. To screen (examine in order to assess the status of) improperly.
    — In judging the evidence on these and subsequent questions, the 5 per cent level of statistical significance is used. χ² and p values are always given for the combination of over-and underscreening into per cent misscreened and for the combination of over- and underrating into per cent misrated.
