英文释义
名词 n.
-
The study of lects.
— It was only during the last decade that more overtly systematic types of comparisons between sociolects began to appear to any extent. Quite clearly, this can be traced to the developments in the study of nonstandard dialects which took place in the United States during the 1960’s; in particular, the study of Vernacular Black English. There are several prominent reasons why this variety was the focus of attention in social lectology.
