— There is, Lord knows, a veritable plethora of things people see and don't see in pigs. Those artists and creative individuals who manage to open their eves to the sunburst brightness of hogritude— and all that it connotes and conveys to us of the elemental urgencies of the earth— tend to glimpse such a shattering enormity of Truth and What's Real that they are usually forced to translate their perceptions into the form of fantasy, with hogs as the fantasy objects.
