— This is to say that the form of our epistemic receptivity to the world is behavioral, or comportmental, to use a term with the proper resonances. Our perceptual space is at root a comportmental space, centering on the body, and knowing a location in ego-centric terms is a behavioral knowledge expressed actively. As it was part of this section (and will be part of the next section) to show, the meaning of such terms as "solid," "mountain," or "water" can be given in comportmental terms: motion ceases at this point, or is restricted there.
