— After completion of co-cultivation period the treated leaves were picked and rinsed with double distilled water containing antibiotic (Cephotaxime, 500 mg/l), blotted dry and transferred to semisolid MS medium containing cephotaxime (200 mg/l) and placed again in culture room at 25 °C ± 2 in 16 h light and 8 h dark photoperiod until the roots emerged.
