— We're now starting to roll out BuddySpace to a group of OU language students; it interoperates with all the 'big name' messengers (ICQ, MSN Messenger,Yahoo Messenger), and more importantly provides features like automatic roster and buddylists, construction of tutor group members and geo-location information for those who want it ('dots on maps' in effect, so you can see who's on. . . all in the interests of community spirit, 'feelgood' factor!)
