  1. A selection of a path for which two points moving simultaneously along lines that begin and end at a distance less than or equal to 1 apart always remain within a specified bounded distance of each other, independent of the lengths of the paths.
    — In this paper, we prove the Cartan-Hadamard Theorem in a more general setting, namely for spaces which are not uniquely geodesic but locally possess a suitable selection of geodesics, a so-called convex bicombing.
