  1. The practice of spelling a two-word name without a space, using a capital letter to indicate the start of each constituent word. (Most words thus formed, but not all, are trade names.) uncountable
    — Retain internal capitalization for trademark names that use bicapitalization, or intercaps, in which one or more letters within names are capitalized in addition to the names' first letter (eg, ScienceDirect and AstraZeneca).
