Yin Chuan

— The trip to the capital of the Ningxia Hui Autonomous Region, Yin Chuan, was uneventful. The Yellow River skirts the city and feeds water to irrigate the land around it. The irrigation system here had a two-thousand year history. The Great Wall, just west of Yin Chuan was built at the same time. Over the centuries Yin Chuan found itself between two Great Walls.
