  1. A testing/demonstration mode of mixing consoles where the controls methodically move by themselves. It is used both to create a visual spectacle and to prove that controls are not malfunctioning.
    — It confirmed for me that digitally controlled audio was the only way to fly, but the thing that all the clients thought was really cool, was Vegas mode. The board scrolled quickly through all its lights—and it had a lot of them.
