    — There is no doubt that the first and most obvious one is the immediate "Tibetanization" of the migrants. They come seeking favor and tolerance from the members of the community, not as conquerers, so that both convenience and policy favor the adoption of at least a part of the Tibetan garb and as much of Tibetan usage as they can without running counter to deep-seated Chinese prejudices.
