    — Comrade (Lin Wang-ching), former secretary of the control committee of the Hainan Regional CCP Committee, died in Tungfang County on 12 July 1967 as a result of persecution by the counterrevolutionary revisionist line of Lin Piao and the gang of four. A memorial service was held for him in Haikow on 12 December.
