Dadukou

— A louse survey was made among students of primary schools and orphanages in the latter part of March, 1944, at Tatukou area outside Chungking. A total of 1,255 students were examined with 530 girls and 716 boys.[…] For the sake of convenience, and because of the seriousness of the malaria situation in the area, Tatukou on the outskirts of Chungking was chosen as the site for demonstration.[…] The survey was followed up by a study of the topography of Tatukou and disease-transmitting mosquitoes in the district.
