Choukoutien

— While hoping that Peking Man may some day return, the Chinese have undertaken an extensive program of excavation since 1949 that has yield ed enough discoveries to insure that the study of the ape‐man can continue. Choukoutien, 30 miles southwest of Peking, is only one of three sites where remains of the ape‐man have been found.
