  1. A city in Sükhbaatar, Mongolia.
    — BARUUN URT There is little to say about this unattractive town of 18,000 inhabitants, located 190 kilometres south-west of Choibalsan and 557 kilometres from Ulaanbaatar. Baruun Urt (981 m) features a small town square dominated by the revolutionary hero Sukhbaatar riding a horse. This one is less dynamic than his statue in Ulaanbaatar. A few shops and a couple of hotels are nearby, but there is no town market.
