    — The BGEPA, however, protects and conserves bald and golden eagles from take of an individual bird, chick, egg, or nest, including alternate and inactive nests. BGEPA prohibits disturbance that may lead to biologically significant impacts, such as interference with feeding, sheltering, roosting, and breeding or abandonment of a nest.
