n. 弧光灯。一类利用电弧放电产生强光的灯。由一对正、负电极（通常由钨制成）组成, 电极之间为气体。根据气体的不同, 可分为氖（Ne）灯、氩（Ar）灯、氪（Kr）灯、氙（Xe）灯、汞（Hg）灯、钠（Na）灯、金属卤化物灯等类型。日常生活中使用的日光灯所充气体为Hg, 属于一种低压汞电弧灯。
